The Oaks Community Church is a place to believe and belong. Our church desires to
magnify God, by making disciples of Jesus Christ. We believe it is our Christian calling
to know Christ and to make him known to others. The Word of God is central in our
fellowship with one another and the guiding force in our daily lives. We have a desire to
reach out to others locally and globally, by sharing the good news of the Gospel of
Christ. We seek to accomplish this goal through various worship opportunities including
regular church services, children’s church, and small groups. As disciples who make
disciples, we bear one another’s burdens in practical ways. We hold each other
accountable in our beliefs and behaviors, and we cultivate deep spiritual friendships, so
that we are able to exemplify the Word of God to others. The Oaks Community Church
is involved in several mission projects both locally and around the world. We are in
friendly cooperation with The Southern Baptist Convention (SBC).
